Gamo CAT trigger adjustment

If yours is like mine it is smooth but has a very long second stage. I replaced the screw right behind the trigger (M2.5 X 8) with a 12mm one (from Fastenal). It can now be adjusted to the point it will not cock. Back it off a bit until you get it where the second stage has the pull length you want. Too far in and it could be a safety hazard though, and go off when you bump it. I put a small amount of super glue on it to keep it from moving. It now has a very nice trigger.

Glad you have a trigger more to your liking. Very similar to the Crosman/Benjamin CBT (Clean Break Trigger) found on the Benjamin NP2 line of break barrels. I can also adjust the screw behind the trigger until the gun will not catch when cocked - in my case when I found the sweet spot on the screw I used a drop of Elmer's glue (wife was an Early Elementary teacher so we have buckets of the stuff) because I knew it would set up enough to hold the screw but would not be a problem to break loose if need be. I tried simple LocTite first but it migrated down the screw and interfered with the working of the sear. I worried that super glue would do the same on steroids. Just a thought.
