Air Arms Gamo break barrel scope issues

NEED HELP ! I recently bought a gamo swarm Magnum gen 3 .22 the original scope stopped working after 3 weeks, then I purchased a leapers utg 3-9x40 AO Mill Dot which was regularly 160 bucks, that worked great for the first 200 pellets , I would leave the scope in the same settings and every several shots I would look through the scope and my target would be closer or several shots later it would look further away, I'm assuming from the double recoil the new scope broke also, I had the same issue with the original scope, any suggestions on a sturdy well built scope that can handle the double recoil of this pellet rifle, thanks in advance

Hawke Airmax is what you’ll need for a springer like that. Always make sure the parallax can go down to 10 yards. They have a lifetime warranty, that is easy to use also.

Good price:

When you tire of the Gamo and get a HW 97K, you can move that scope to it😀

I found keeping a scope on a spring gun, especially a magnum, to be a futile effort.

Make sure the scope and/or rings are not walking. Put a witness mark with a pencil just at the front ring and then go to shooting the thing. Then look and see if the witness mark has moved. It took quad rings to keep my scopes from moving on a Remington/Nitro Trail.

My little 14 fpe Stoeger X20 .177 just broke it's second scope. And it is not really a magnum springer. For a magnum rifle you may have to resort to those shock absorbing mounts, myself, I just got rid of the magnum springers, problem solved.

Lol.

Scoping a springer is a dice roll you hope you dont roll snake eyes..

You buy you try and hope it doesn't make you cry..

I got cheap / package scopes that worke put and some more '' recommend " that failed . So??

One thing i can say to add as a recommendation is a scope brand that offeres a no question asked lifetime warranty. Not saying there the greatest or best , but one thats held up under gamo hatsan hw/r springers is athlon ( talos 3-12) .

I alose got a damaged display athlon o sent in and got back good as new and there out of Kansas City so a few days to mail it , a couple to look ot over anf a few days return back to me .. 6-10 days +/- . Pretty much Only question asked was return address .

Hawke a good brand and honors warranty. How long satisfaction time on them i dont know .

If you dont need mildot the standard athlon neos is now at Walmart for 119$ .
