Gamo Arrow or Umarex Notos

50 yards would be the limit but the notos all day over the Gamo. The Gamo has issues with a lot of things, so far the notos has been super solid and it's regulated. As popular as it is there will be people making stuff to upgrade them probably such as drop blocks ECT.

I vote Notos. I love mine. Nice and compact carbine, with side lever cocking. Not a big fan of the Arrow's whale tail charging handle that forces you to take your eye from the scope in order to cycle in the next shot. The Notos is also regulated whereas the Gamo is not.

My vote is for the Notos also, had mine out yesterday shooting Hades a ragged hole at 20 yards for 3 mags filling to 3200psi 700+fps.

That notos is kinda nice .. you got carbine, or pistol, and the extras like grips, mags, sights, available and not costly. I think a guy can get a bit more fun out of it.

Probably a Notos, although if you're only using iron sights, and have a strict budget, the Arrow might not be a bad choice.

Last i looked the iron sight kit was only 9$ or somthing
Only thing i think umarex should of done was sell the gun in a complete kit / package deal , grips sights , ect.. all in the box.

If you are going to go low power you might as well go compact and regulated. Notos for sure.

anyone know if there are any good trigger mods or adjustments to the notos? 4# sounds pretty stiff…

It's a stiff break, but its predictable. I'm getting pellet on pellet accuracy at 35 yards with 18s and 21s, and dime to nickels with cheap crosmans from wally world. Havent touched the trigger adjustment or done anything to mine besides clean the barrel and shoot. I'm running out of squirrels!

The trigger adjustment is pretty easy. Just use the supplied allen key and screw in the trigger screw to lighten up the trigger. I've got mine breaking pretty crisply now. I don't have a trigger gauge, but I'd guess it's at about a pound or pound and a half now.

Lol I don't really need to respond but I'm for Notos also. Use it almost daily on pigeons and starlings. A small amount of trigger work and it's actually a pretty good trigger in the 1-2lb range. Nice defined wall and breaks pretty crisp.

You guys are convincing me to do the trigger job on the notos. I'm having no issues with it or accuracy. Stacking pellets at 35 yards on paper, but I'm pulling shots on pest shots occasionally. Squirrels mainly, they more to much and get, well, squirrely.
