Ya know I have to say I’m impressed. When I first got into airguns again in 2008 I got one that drove me nuts. Wouldn’t hold a zero for nothing. Wasted money on a Stoeger X50 also. That wasn’t as bad but still. The main 2 problems, I didn’t use a good mount, & no factory springer can match a fitted spring/guide tuned, buttoned piston. The difference is night/day in shot cycle and sound, consistency over a chronograph.
I’m not knocking Gamo. Just have been through everything from entry level to FWB300, AA TX200 (3), Theoben, many HW & RWS rifles and lots of PCP’s. Never owned a Whiscombe though.
In the end I sold my big compressors and most PCP’s but I’m keeping most of my springers.

What i find is if its a $100 or a $1000 it's a good one you have a good experience with or it's not. Then the not's give good experience to apply towards the next one you get.

Whats funny is that scope of the gamo package ones it the only one that holds, but it cant focus . You can get it cloce to see most at 7 power only.

So yesterday i took the eye piece lens from the rest and swaped them and lo and behold one made the focus work out far better not perfect but way improved. Then i shot that above. Ots like a why did i not think of trying that years ago..lol.
