Gammo MAGNUM .22 Gen 3i Ultimate Scope?

I just got a Gammo Magnum .22 Gen 3i.

It comes with a 3x9 scope that's meh but works.

If I were to stack 2 risers onto each other (to make it comfortable for me, (a permanent injury adjustment) I need the scope to be higher than the gun by a good bit) what would be a really good scope where I could zoom in crisply for this gun? I only shoot in one target spot (the same bird feeder perch), so I don't need to adjust and track anything, but I do want to be able to really tune it in so I can choose exactly where my projectile will land. This bird feeder is about 30-40 yards away.

I understand that these pump rifles can damage a scope if it's not the right kind of scope meant for the recoil, so please factor that in and anything else I'm not thinking of. I'd rather spend more and get that 10% improvement that some people aren't sure it's worth it. I really want results more than a bargain.

Thanks for your input.

Well athlon held up to there's on one i sent in. Sent ot , few days got a tracking # on the return scope, got it and it wass good and still using it ..

I think like hawkes scopes do as good.

Hang tight plenty of guys will chime in here on this soon with there choices to conciser..

Ya, i got like 3 or 4 gamo package scopes and out of them made one good one that holds zero . Focus stinks but zeros spot on.. my lesson on a springer ( or any gun) is i dont buy a gun without sights.. kinda like buying a car without a steering wheel.

Then if its a scope buster i still got iron sights to keep shooting and enjoying the gun not rebuying or eaiting on another optic to do so.😉

You rarely ever here a guy get turned down sending one in.. im sure theres others but i think these 3 are the popular around .. anyway you got somthing backing one up not adding to cart again..

Good luck
I was going to post virtually the same advice with the addition of; SWFA fixed power scopes have been reported by other members to hold up to heavy recoiling springer/piston guns. I have a big piston Gamo that has rattled a few scopes apart and I wont put another one on it unless I know the scope manufacture will warranty it. Hawke and Vortex in particular have an outstanding reputation for replacing scopes.
