I bought a synrod in May and 6 shots out of the box and it was ready to go. Its been dead on ever since and its a very accurate .22. Yes, I said .22 ! I purchased an FX verminator .25 and had very high expectations. Its randomly all over the place. At 25 yards, that's as far as I've gotten, it shoots 3" groups. I thought maybe its the scope, because these FX's are supposed to be accurate and the videos of shooting the numbers off a target are impressive. So I changed the scope to one that's proven and got the same results. I'm shooting JSB exacts. I feel like I'm back to the springer days. I guess since the marauder is so incredible I thought this FX would be a dream. So maybe the pellet hunt is on next to see if something else works in it. My marauder has been fed three different pellets and doesn't mind the change at all. Go figure. I'm thinking did I get the Best marauder .22 ever and a rare inaccurate FX?? Wouldn't that be funny. Not really since I could have a marauder in every caliber for the cost. Chime in and help a brother out. Give me some suggestions on what I can try. Is the pellet type the most important issue or has anyone else experienced other miracle fixes.
