FX wildcat trigger help

Took my oldest shooting and the trigger on my wildcat 2 went from a light 1-2 pounds to easily 5-6 pounds. 


The only thing I can think of was when my boy was shooting it. He short strokes the action and then had it slam fire. 


I shot 2 magazines at least after that and it’s functioning correctly but the trigger now is 2-3x as heavy and not crisp. 


anyone know what happened and how I can fix it. (Utah Airguns is close to my work so I can stop by and have them look it over if needed).

Check the safety. If it’s not fully disengaging from the trigger block, or it was force fired with the safety on, and bent something. Easily done with this style safety.

Just readjusted mine after watching a video super easy....Maybe an adjustment screw backed out? It's only 2 screws to get the stock off and you can take a look.....My safety didn't work and I had to readjust the rear most allen screw. Adjusted that and everything works great now.....

I was curious if this was a common issue with these bullpups?

Problem fixed. 


took the action out of the stock and turned it upside down. Watched the tuning video. Tested the trigger to see how it was and it was working perfectly. 


Put it back together and shot 6 rounds no problems. 


Who knows. Maybe the loose but behind the trigger. *shrug*
