FX Wildcat or Impact in .25 Cal

Whatever decision you made,it would have been the right one. Only you can be content with what you purchased. I started with the Wildcat 25. I was so happy with Wildcat’s performance that the Wildcat 22 arrived at my front door sooner than later. Both have a purpose for target and more often then not, hunting. The weight of the 22 is obviously lighter when on a stalk and the shorter overall length makes it less worrisome when walking through think brush. I do use a sling mainly to free my hands to carry video equipment and gun rest. Acclimating to the Wildcat took very little time compared to say, the Benjamin Marauder. After finding the most comfortable position, now I am able to shoulder the Wildcat (with a sling) for longer periods giving me more time to stay on target and wait to get a better opportunity for a shot. Have fun with your Wildcat and be safe!

"brettrown"That is what I was thinking for the front mount as well. Thank you.
They do make a smaller picatinny swivel sling mount but I went with the bigger one being I wount be using a bipod. Wished they would of used the picatinny rail with the sling mount on it being it came with the rear mount installed, guess they figured a person would mount a bipod with the sling swivel on it. Very small complaint for such a nice Airgun.

Used this sling most of the summer and so far it’s doing well. The bolted sling stud on the stock hasn’t stripped (thank goodness) even though I keep it loose to allow it to swivel a bit 😬

"brettrown"Thank you. I'm excited to get out this weekend and see how she does. I fired it a few times last night across the garage. So far so good.

Anyone have any pictures for sling mount ideas for the Wildcat?
I have the walnut stocked WC and mounted a sling stud on the butt, and a recessed sling stud cup on the foream.

Very nice, mine came with the front picatinny rail or else I would of done the same ting you did.....I really like that Walnut stock Hmmmmm time to make a call I think..

OK, You guys are going to think I am absolutely bananas. So yesterday I was handling my Wildcat trying to figure out how to mount a sling and I really started to second guess
my decision over my original choice the Impact. I pulled out my recipe and did the math and realized after the extra mag and gun case I purchased, I could have bought the Impact
with the same mag capacity and it comes w/ a case for around $400 more. So, anyways I just returned from AOA and the guys over there are awesome and they let me exchange the Wildcat, pay the difference and they put me back on the Impact list. I think in the end they are both really nice guns and you can't really go wrong with either one. I think having the ability to switch barrel down the road and greater shot count per fill was worth the cost difference. The worst part in all of this is I now have to wait and AOA is 245 mile round trip from my house. Again, I appreciate all your help and feed back.

"Imold"I have the SUMO on mine also but ya can’t see it in my pic. I don’t think anyone has noticed or have said they noticed my Red 3 mag holder in the stock, I had the other two mag holders red but to me it didn’t look right so I put them back to black.
That's funny I didn't even notice the red holder. I think black would probably look better as well.
