FX Wildcat or Daystate Renegade in .25 -- I have 10 Days to Decide

I've ordered the FX but I have time to change my mind as the rifle won't be coming in for about 10 days. I have two Daystate rifles now (Regal XL and Wolverine B Hi-Lite). I like the FX Wildcat's power (up to 46 FPE in .25), light weight, and relatively short length (34-35").

I like the look of the Daystate Renegade better (green composite, quality of build). My concern is, from what I can dig up on the net, the Renegade is likely to be 10 FPE less than the Wildcat? The regulated Wildcat may also provide a flatter shot string than the Renegade? The Renegade in .25 seems to be about 1.2 pounds lighter (6.6 vs 7.8)?

Other than the full electronics of the Pulsar, I'm figuring the Renegade and Pulsar are very comparable in terms of power and shot count? Can anyone shed light on the comparison I'm trying to make?

Thanks

I am in the well almost same place,so let me ask this I ordered the .25 wildcat 2 weeks ago and they was out of stock. So I have 1700.00 bucks to spend would you buy the wild cat or is there something else out there better for that price? Please share thoughts !! I want to make a good first buy and I have never owned a high end air gun only the Benjamin Marauder .25

Dave09. That question about "missing out" has preyed on me as well. I've gone over to the Daystate website a few times to see if there are hints from them about upcoming. I'd hate to make the purchase and then find out in mid-January that something that fits my needs even better has come out! I'm up to 3 PCPs (before the Wildcat) and 1 springer. I don't need more than 2-3 of these air rifles (Pro Sport Springer for pure fun, .22 and .25 -- I'm purely a squirrel hunter).

I have $1,846 sitting on the Wildcat purchase because I'm getting a MTC Viper Connect scope with it as well (love that scope - I have on my Regal XL). I've waffled some and have been reading reviews like crazy. I've been influenced a LOT by this forum and certain video reviews. I pretty much only consider Daystate and FX. I'm sure I'm too narrow in my thinking.

I'm 95% with the wildcat because it is so different from my Wolverine, Regal and AA410. I may try to sell the AA but I hate to take a beating on it. Also, I've only been here 10-11 months so I have no history of buying and selling here. (I've sold and bought dozens of bows on an archery forum (TradGang though), and 100% feedback on eBay).

I gave the Pulsar and Renegade a thought or two. I called AoA to see if they'd take the Hawke scope off the used Renegade they have and replace it with a used MCT ... no dice so no sale.

Thanks for the reply, Well I seen the daystate used rifle at the aoa website ,in the used gun section looks sweet but I don't know about electric stuff on my hunting rifle just my opinion ,I too was looking in there but I was looking at the Gladiator for 1195 I called and made them an offer of 800 bucks and they said no...so I came to rest on this gun...seems every one I talk to loves this gun. They only have 1 negative thing to say about it,and it's the scratched up magazine that has not been addressed. Really it don't bother me that much as I intend to hunter the rest of the winter for coyote, rabbits, squirrels, and hogs, and I am pretty rough with my hunting guns so I got the synthetic .25 version.anyway best of luck in searching if you run across anything that you think may look better give me a shout here and I'll do the same for you.
