Hi Everyone, so I had the most amazing idea over the weekend and then I created the thought that was in my head and here is the result. let me know what you think.
The FX Wildcat .25 come standard with two baffles. My though was this, why don't I slow the air down inside those two baffles. rather then spending well over $150 for a mod/ldc/silencer.
Here are the result.
-3x 2.8 silicone cover cut down to sizes/ find them at any home depot or hardware store or someone might have them already and ask for the cap/cover. I had two laying around the house, I bought one and return the item but kept the cover.
-1 soft sponge/foam sheets that comes with your pellet tins.
after everything is said and done, I was able to reduce the sound to about 6-8 DB lower then without the mods! here are some pictures.
step I took.
1. cut the caps but leaving the cover in tack,
2. drill holes in the spacing.
3. sand and filled to smooth
4. cut foam to sizes
5. place two caps in the 1st baffles 9each cap is filled with the foam to cover the holes.
6. place the last cap in the second baffles, and fill it with foam,
7. screw back the two baffles and your done.
8. take apart if need for cleaning.
total cost was .01 cent.
