I've got a MkIII Sniper and would like to option of converting it to a compact version - that 700mm can be unwieldy! Does anyone know where I can buy the 230cc tank online? Or the 500mm barrel shroud?

Order the shorter air-cylinder, 500mm barrel and shroud from FXUSA. Part availability and shipping/delivery times then would be the big question.

This makes sense to me and is a good suggestion.
I ended up with an Impact Compact and I went with the impact compact for its smaller dimensions and 500 mm barrel over the regular 600 mm barreled impact. And I am glad I did, because it makes for a better hunting gun.

You could also purchase the 500 mm barrel and a Huggett shroud that is moderated in an all in one package. Makes the O.A. length almost a 1/2" shorter than the standard FX shroud and FX logo'd DonnieFL (1 3/8 x5").

Another way -
Like I did to my Daystate Renegade. I cut a chunk out of the shroud and had it welded back together. Did some hand finishing to clean the surface. You can have it re-anodized, powder coated, painted, as one guy mentioned, covered in heat shrink tube. I painted mine in truck bed paint.
The barrel is now about 3/32" longer than the air reservoir and still has all of the Daystate baffles in place.
