FX Wildcat MK3 question..Donny FL Shroud extension

I have an FX Wildcat MK3 with a 500mm barrel. I recently added a 2.5" Power and now my Donny FL moderator will not fit. Will the DonnFL Wildcat Shroud Extension with the 1/2 X20 UNF Adapter that they sell fix my issue? Thanks for the help!
