FX Wildcat MK3 Hybrid Slug Shooting Machine!!

Hey Guys and Gals,

Took one of my MK3 WildCats .22 700mm and did some playing today.

Wanted to make it a dedicated Hybrid Slug shooter....Set the reg at 135 and hammer spring about a turn and half out from max and....

Above is 10 shots at 55 yards

Above is 50 shots at 65 yards (the 2 shots off to the side were from some sighters I took)

Above is 10 shots at 30 yards

Not bad!!

Mine loves the NSA 20.2gr, 23gr and JSB Knockouts 25.4gr a lot cheaper than Hybrids.

Had them going 935 (ish)......On max.

Going to run a full string at each power level and will let y'all know how it looks and what speed they start to drop off group wise....

I have one on first order delivery, expected in 1 week. However it is a "Compact" 500 mm barrel. Anyone done any slug work with that length barrel?

Love it! Bought 6 of them I liked it so much!! Mil are the ones I went with but have 2 MOA on order to check them out....

I was impressed as all hell.....I shoot airguns a good bit but yesterday was just one of those days conditions were perfect and it all just clicked......

I got my sniper in .22 yesterday so got to spend some time with it today mine love, loves The jsb Knockouts and also really liked the h&n 21 grain and the 23 grain in .218. Mine is only shooting The Knockouts about 750 feet per second so I think I'm going to follow your lead and adjust my reg and hammer spring up
