im fairly new to airgunning,well,pcp anyway.i started watching youtube videos on the subject a few months back,during the nra convention in dallas ,there was a deal i couldnt pass up,40 percent off from crosman ,if ordered online from the convention,so i got a mrod,all decked out,on the cheap...well ,now i got the bug,pcp's are kinda like lays taterchips,you cant stop with just one.in the time i have been shooting my mrod,i have also been watching more youtube on the subject.well thanks to matt dubber,and teds hold over,i got the itch for a fx wildcat mk2...i saved money ,sold some poop and ordered one...been on backorder so long ,im beginning to think ,they dont exist...i keep adding to my order,so somewhere,in a land far far away,is a fx wildcat mk2,with a aztec 3-18x50,on sportmatch rings,with 2 extra mags,and 2 mag holders ,and a stx liner for jsb 33 grain mk2's....someday (hopefully in my lifetime)the ups man will come with my freakin unicorn.

Well if its still on back order, maybe cancel it and jump on the Warcat (special build by Utah airguns, Ted, and FX) that Ted is so excited about. I have a feeling with either, once you have obtained that mythical beast you won't ever want to let it go

Like the Impact X, they are in high demand right now. Eventually your name will move to the top of the list and your mythical beast will be sent to you.

I have one coming for my son. I contacted Ken at spaweapons.com and he hooked me up. The shipment from FX to him left on Thursday, so I'm hoping to receive it by the end of the week next week, or possibly in the early part of the following week. I'm getting as excited as my son to receive the shipment...

Don't be surprised when you push your son out of the way and you hoard it from him.
I don't anticipate that, but we'll see. I am very satisfied with my RAW HM1000x in .25/.30 caliber. I'll just be glad to have him shooting something he really likes so I can shoot my own gun.

Man, wendel; it's like I have a twin! Only I started out with a P-rod. She was my first real hunting air rifle. I learned a lot with her. After that, I was a goner! Since then (only four short years), I've been through an FX Impact .30, a Daystate Pulsar .25, and a RAW HMx .357 (130 ft-lbf). These days I shoot an FX Wildcat .25 MK1 with a DonnyFL SUMO moderator for small game. And that's just the guns! I've also been through Omega 75 CU-FT and 12 CU-FT 4,500 psi CF tanks, an Omega 4,500 psi Air Charger compressor, and the Eberlestock Gunslinger II rifle scabbard / backpack I bought to carry my RAW. I also bought three other backpacks to carry my assorted guns. And, of course, I also have all the other implements of destruction: Chairgun, StrelocPro, Chrony, Trigger Sticks, binos, tilt-technology range-finder, jewelers scale, calipers, rifle rests, tricked-out work bench, dB meter, trigger pull gauge, assorted cleaning rods, plus various specialized tools, etc., etc., etc,... You just might be better off buying a different PCP.With all the reports of people waiting so long to receive them and then have to send them back for some type of repairs are they worth it.I must of got lucky no problem with my mk1 knock on wood.
