FX Wildcat MK1 Huma reg spacer

I'm trying to fix a leak in my buddies Wildcat and I have come to the conclusion that the spacer being used in the air tube between the Huma regulator and the cap isn't long enough. The O-ring on the regulator ends up right on the weep hole, which forces it out of the hole when filled. This ruins the O-ring and causes it to leak. Does anyone know what size that spacer is supposed to be? The one in there now is 10mm. (I'm guessing the spacer for the Huma is a little bigger, which would put the weep hole in between the O-rings where it should be)
To give a little history, he had this gun into a repair shop and they claimed they replaced all the O-rings and sent it back. I can't believe they tested it before sending it back or this issue would have manifested itself.
