FX Wildcat Mk III trigger spring

Hi all, I've ordered a Wildcat in .25 cal, and from what I have read plus shooting a friends dreamline, I know I will want to lighten the trigger. I would rather make or buy a new spring than cut the factory fitted one. So does anyone have the critical measurements for a wildcat trigger spring. eg
OD, wire dia, total length and number of active coils?

Has anyone else made a lighter spring for their FX? I have not seen much on the web about fitting a different spring, but it must have been done by a number of people. I expect will be doing the usual polishing too.

i shot my buddies mk3 and i see no need for anything but maybe lighten up the second stage a tad, trigger is fantastic

Why would you want to ? My wc3 is as good as it gets Jmo

I've had a MKIII for a couple of weeks now, and have put a few hundred pellets in the trap with it. I agree with Vinny. The trigger is fantastic. Mine was perfect from the factory, but you can probably lighten it sufficiently without altering the trigger spring, I believe.

Hmm, I will have to wait and see. I stopped counting at 20 threads on this forum for FX trigger issues

The FX trigger has no facility to adjust the trigger weight AFAIK.

I have owned a lot of FX guns and I don't think anyone of them has ever had a bad trigger they are easy to lighten up with out new springs I would 1st try it out the 2nd stage can be made extremely light From factory. But keep us posted if you do change out the spring.

Adjusting the 2 forwards screw will lighten the break, both screw work together when close the 2nd screw will be the final screw to adjust, if you make large adjustment the shear will not engage. make small adjustment.

Hi Ernest,
I just watched your video on adjusting the Wildcat trigger, I can see that it is a bit more conventional than the other FX models in that it does not look like the second stage is controlled by a spring behind a ball bearing. So I will wait and see what the trigger is like when I get my Wildcat.
