FX Wildcat MK II won't feed Pellets

My .22 FX Wildcat MKII will not feed pellets from the magazine. It has the Lever locked in the out position, & won't let me feed pellets into the chamber or will not let me remove the 8 round magazine. This gun is less than 4 months old, bought brand new & was just target shooting indoors when I went to put a new round of pellets in, it would not let me cock it or remove magazine, wondering the problem, & how to go about fixing it w/out sending it back to Utah...thanks

Is the mag in backwards? That will jam it up, been there done that got the t-shirt.

If a pellet jams in the breech and then you cock it again, the second pellet can hang out into the magazine and prevent you from removing it since the follow-on pellet is blocked by the jammed one. A bit of a mess. On these interchangeable barrel rifles it is sometimes best and easiest to remove the barrel and inspect it.

make sure your pellets are all the way in i have one mag when i shoot some of the pellets will slide back a little every now and then not consistent and when i cock it the magazine will fall out

Sure wish FX would have incorporated a sliding rod that centers up the magazine and locks it in place, like Hatsan has done on their guns. I mean, how hard would it have been to incorporate that? Hopefully, Mr BarneyFife, you didn’t ruin that edge on your pellet probe, the edge that pushes the pellet forward.
