I thought that too until I realized that the piccatiny mount that attaches to the sling stud lines up perfectly so half of the piccatiny mounting plate is attached to the sling stud at the bottom of the tube clamp and the other half is fitted snugly against the bottom of the stock forend which prevents any unnecessary strain on the airtube. FX did a great job of making sure the tube clamp sling stud is positioned where it is lined up at the exact height it should be if I were to have installed the sling stud in the actual stock forend thus preventing any unnecessary mounting stress once the bipod and sling stud adapter plate is attached.

Thanks TKA87, good photos again. Yours looks pretty strain free. On mine there is normally a gap of 1-2mm between the cylinder and the forend and tightening the screw down closes the gap, but it doesn't sit quite right. So I've cut a 1" x 2" bit from a 4" plastic drainpipe and put a 1/2" hole in it. This sits nicely between the clamp and the runnel (not under the forend) and takes the strain off.

The help sheet says 
"Check that the measurement from the side of the breechblock to the end part of the feeding pin is between 28,55-28,8 – if its incorrect release the 2 stop screws at the reload sliding bracket, then push the feedingpin in to the correct length and then tighten the screws while holding the feedingpin in the correct position."

Could someone post a picture showing what they mean by: "2 stop screws of the reload sliding bracket". I want to check mine and if it is out, set it correctly. Also, preparing to take the gun apart to install the red and I know it is going to move.


Also, +1 to Smokin for the good info. I would never have seen this.
