I shot 6 five shot groups, so 30 shots TOTAL, what would cause my POI to rise 3 inches on my last five shots? starting pressure was 210 bar ending was 150 bar. all help is much appreciated.
group size stayed the same, it just landed 3 inches higher then the other groups, scope/mounts are snug not torqued down."Drunk"3 inches shift of POI??? Would check my scope/mounts first, if only POI shifted and not the tightness of the group itself.
range was 55 yards, i wasn't using any holdover just the center crosshair"Tominco"What range? Did you use the wrong mil-dot for the last 3? (Silly question but, it happens to all of us.)
Check your shroud end cap to make sure it hasn't come loose. Also, unscrew it and take a look at it for signs of clipping.
Are you using adjustable mounts like the FX no limits? Maybe one/both came loose and moved on you.
With the info provided so far, it sounds like an optics related issue.
How's the scope? Proven to be reliable? Was it ever mounted on a springer?
What did you do between shot 25 and 26 (end of group 5, beginning of group 6)? Did you change anything? Drop the rifle? Bump it? Use a new/different tin of pellets?
What caliber are you shooting? (Shouldn't have anything to do with the shift, just curious)

hmmm... 3" at 55yds = there's something really going on here! If you had said 125 or 150 I would have said keep practicing LOL!"Muskrat."

i checked the shroud end cap and its tight. i will remove it and check for possible clipping issues.
mounts and scope are just temporary until christmas, mounts where only $10 and scope is a center point ( who puts a CP scope on a FX rifle ? ) LOL
I didn't change anything during my last 5 shots, rifle is .25 caliber . this rifle has been very consistent so i knew something was off immediately.
They call me "The Wildcat" LOL!"poorshot"Nice interrogation Tominco, that should get to the bottom of it.
