FX FX Wildcat fill issue

I recently sold my FX Wildcat to a local individual who has shot it for several weeks without filling it. He called today and said that when he tries to fill it the air just escapes from the muzzle. I had him cock the rifle. He said that didn’t make any difference. It may or may not be something really stupid like wrong probe insertion but who knows. If any of you have any other tips or experience like this, please advise. I have never experienced one issue with this rifle.

Possible let air down so far that an old oring finally went kaput. Mine did in the regulator easy fix.

Nice of you to be concerned, can't help but suspect operator error is behind this problem. Never had a filling problem with my Wildcat either, if sold, I'd provide Operator's Manual or suggest buyer read FX manual online, after that, it's new owner's responsibility to follow manufacturer's recommendations, or ignore, at their own peril. Guessing he shot it down way to low of pressure. So low it may have dumped all out. Probably needs a quick blast of air from an scba tank to get the valve pin to seal. What is he using to try and fill it ?

He has a full 4500 psi new great white tank

The issue wasn't at all as described. There was no air leaking through the muzzle and the rifle was holding about 80 bar. Somehow and the outside o-ring was stripped off of the probe. I happened to have a metric o-ring set that had one that worked. Slipped it in the groove and it filled immediately with no issues.

Yeah, explain to him that he SHOULD NOT shoot past the regulator pressure, so the gun dumps itself !
Stop with at least 150 bar still in the system (per the gauge).

Glad it was just a probe oring. Super simple fix.
