FX Wildcat - AOA Custom Install of Atlas 3.35" Picatinny Rail

FX WILDCAT - CUSTOM INSTALL OF ATLAS RAIL BY KIP PEROW OF AIRGUNS OF ARIZONA
I recently bought a genuine ATLAS bipod to use with my new FX Wildcat and existing Daystate Air Wolf. I went with Atlas since they offer a model with a quick release lever to make switching between rifles a breeze. In addition to the Atlas bipod, I ordered the Atlas 3.35" Picatinny Rail and Atlas Individual Faster kit for both rifles. Since I have no faith in my ability to install the mounts without damaging the stocks of my rifles, I decided to leave it to the pros. In my case, I had Kip at Airguns of Arizona do the installation work for me. The installation took just 2 days and boy was it worth it. Kip did a top notch job as you can see from the pictures below:

The toolmaker part of me says those top edges should have been cleaned up some.

But nice bipod setup.

To be honest I have no idea what Kip used to create the holes. I don't mind the edges since they are not visible once the stock is attached to the action.

Here's a link to installing the rail on an FX stock - This is showing a BobCat and modifies the fasteners because you are unable to counterbore for the T-Nuts - but it would be very similar for the Wildcat.

I have those same bolts and fastners and rail...when I get this mythical Wildcat that everyone else has I will do the same to mine. I drilled with a press into my $1,000 Gary Cane stock a sling stud so have the means to do it on the Wildcat. Measure twice, cut once and swear thrice.
