FX Wildcat 500MM or 700MM?

Looking at jumping into PCP with a purchase of an FX Wildcat.

Curious if anyone who has shot both consider the advantages of the Compact (500MM) worth any sacrifices lost over the the standard barrel length (700MM)?

I love the thought of being able to hit a pigeon size target a 100 yards and wonder if both do it easily enough?

Thank for any feed back you are willing to share.

Personally, I prefer the shorter version. Currently, I own the Wildcat MK 1 in .25 cal. and the WC MK 2 in .30 cal. The MK2 .30 cal has the 700 mm barrel, is tuned to 80 FPE with the Huma regulator and the extended plenum. This Bullpup(?) is as accurate as any PCP I've ever owned. However, its overall length (41") makes it a bit cumbersome, especially with the addition of the DonnyFL Ronin LDC.

My WC MK 1 .25 caliber matches the .30 cal in accuracy and with the factory (Hugget) LDC measures ~38 inches. This BULLPUP is lightweight and ergonomic, producing all the energy necessary for any task I might undertake.

My recommendation? Choose the shorter rifle.
