FX Wildcat .25 video review by AEAC

Hey Steve, stumbled on the the .25 Wildcat video and ALMOST stopped watching because of the "silly" intro (my thoughts anyway). Decided to play it forward a bit and your mug popped up. Of course, I continued to watch your, as always, excellent review. My advice is to lose this type of intro.... Just my opinion.

ps... My Youtube was auto-playing one after another so I didn't know what channel it was. I, of course, subscribe to your channel and would have known it was you had I started out in my subscriptions.

Best,

Gary

Thanks Gary, I appappreciate the input and see what your saying about branding awareness coming forth 2 minutes into the vid.

I've always looked at AEAC as me just doing my thing in service of the industry, knowing it won't be "right for" or "grab" everyone. I'm perfectly comfortable existing for those that can enjoy the celebrative format and for group that doesn't care for it, that's cool. YouTube's full of great reviewers.

Best,
Steve

Personally, I found the intro painful and slow and was really tempted to kill the video review a few mins in, but glad I didn't and then got to some interesting information.
Maybe the cat dialogue is a cultural thing as I probably wouldn't have the same reaction if the intro sound track was the old rock song "Wild Thing".

Looking forward to a similar intro to a Cricket review with Jimminy Cricket singing "Give a little whistle"

Haha, great idea! Now all I need is to get AOA to send me one. Yes, Henrietta Pussycat & Lady A. (Mr. Rogers) are defiantly a demo-cultural familiarity but I'm pretty sure it aired international too.

"GriffyGriff"Hi Steve, did you also do that YouTube review recently on the Kral Puncher Breaker .22? That was an excellent review. (Doesn't sway me from my Bobcat .25), but you have got a few people with wildcats questioning their purchases.

Haha, yeah that was me. The Puncher Breaker was a lot of gun for the money but it's no Wildcat. You're safe 😁
