steppenwulf Said My new WC is a bit on the loud side for my backyard. just wanted to let other owners with a similar issue that AoA sells individual baffle extensions (1) at $25. I want to keep the gun short and light so I've added 1 baffle. hoping this solves it. if not well will order 1 more. My new Bobcat MKII has a similar setup on the end of the shroud and I remember Ted saying in his video showing his new Wildcat, that the Wildcat uses the same type of extensions as the Bobcat.
In the pictures below you can see it's a two piece shroud extension that is completely hollow. Very surprising how much this little thing cuts down the noise compared to when it's remove from the gun and you pull the trigger. Very loud!!!
If the threaded end of the shroud on the Wildcat is the same as it is on the Bobcat, this Huggett moderator should screw right on and really quiets the gun down. At least it did on my Bobcat. I bought it at Precision Airguns and Supplies, cost $239.00 but it is beautifully made and takes all of 15 seconds to install. Total length of the Huggett is 6.5 inches so about 4 inches longer than the two piece hollow extension that comes with the Bobcat.
Hope this helps.
