FX FX went backward

WTH, FX went from proper, readable, actual meaningful gauges to barely readable toy gauges as their guns progressed. Not sure "progressed" is the right word ! So, what were they thinking in those 12 or so years ?

Here's an "old" (from about 2012 !)...FX Bobcat with proper, readable, usable pressure gauge.
Oh yeah, and you don't have to look down the barrel as with many other brands.

To a more current, modern (?), FX gauge. Maverick with toy, almost...gauge.

Yeah, the old Bobcat gauges are certainly easier to see/Read than the newer, smaller ones but you have to consider placement on newer models & whether a large dial face will fit. Luckily my old eyes still "see young" & not a problem reading smaller gauges for me. YMMV.

It isn't just FX. Gauges have gotten smaller. The Ninja gauges are the same way. When a gauge is only 3/4"... things get smaller.

Yeah def isn’t just fx for sure. The mav/wildcat gauge is a joke. I ordered a digital the same time I did the gun.

I care very little for the tank gauge, but the reg. gauge, I have a need to know. Cheap digital work fine for me TYVM.

Yeah exactly. I forgot to specify that. The fill gauge is fine but the reg gauge is pretty impossible to get a precise reading from.

Maverick with toy, almost...gauge

I replaced the reg gauge on miner with a proper & larger wika one.
I am thinking for my new rifle, when i get it shooting well, a digital REG gauge might be one of my first " upgrades "

Filling i never look at the rifle, i look at the big gauge on my fill kit, i would not like to look at the in the end of the reservoir gauge like on my new rifle.
Also i shoot connected to a large tank so i dont need to keep tap on my air usage.
