FX T12 Whisper MKII Walnut

Went to AOA today and treated myself to an FX T12 that was on special with an included an FX 3-12X44 AO scope. Not my first choice for a scope but for free...it's ok My birthday is next week so besides the rifle I got the Omega air charger. What the heck... AOA mounted the scope and sighted the rifle in for me. Great people and a great gun. VERY quiet and with the short time to shoot today before I lost the light, I think I'm going to be very happy.

Thank you, I got a 22 cal.and I'm a righty so no problem. So far I am very pleased.

I've admired that particular rifle from afar. Can you elaborate on the *Whisper* aspect-- i.e.: quiet, back yard friendly, or even SPL readings if you have a meter?

Back yard and neighbor friendly... definately. The pellet hitting the target makes more noise than the rifle. I don't have any readings but seriously your neighbors won't even know you own a gun. I'm really enjoying it.

 I think they could have rounded some of the hard edges on the stock more, but I'm just nit picking now. It really likes the JSB Exact Jumbo 15.89 gr.

Congratulations on a great rifle. Yeah, that full length shroud is very effective. Same as the one on the Royale 200/300 that I had. I thought the gun was broken the first time I shot it, it was so quiet!!

I've put about 400 rounds through the rifle and I'm very pleased. Super quiet and super accurate. From this morning, 6 shots at 25 yards at a target the size of a quarter from an improvised front rest. Haven't had a chance at longer distances yet, just over 25 yards is about the limit of my back yard. I'm thinking about adding a Brocock Compatto that my wife could handle.

Nice rifle for sure, but she is very small so the 34" semi-bullpup seems like a better choice for her. Actually I'm looking at the Bantam for the better shot count. Nice looking too in the beech finish.

I have one in black stock it's very quiet I thought it wasn't shooting correctly so I chronoed it and was fine tack driver! Going to be my 25 yard gun at extreme benchrest

I went for it yesterday. Added the Huggett and yes it's very quiet now. My FX T12 is a bit quieter, but not by much. Bagged a little pest first thing this morning with it. See you at EBR.

Just an update on the T12, having had it for while now. The more I shoot it, the more I like it. This thing is dead accurate and really quiet. Happy-happy...
