Fx Superior STX Liner

Hi

I would like to know if someone has assembled with CF the fx liner without the original metal cover of FX??

The metal barrel on the outside of the liner is threaded to the barrel attachment and the barrel liner lock. Without a way to connect these parts together there is no way to secure the liner.

I did manage to use an FX liner in my Crosman 2240 but it wasn't an easy task.

The barrel liner slides into the brass adapter which in turn slides into the breech. It has set screws to secure it.



A couple aluminum disks hold the liner in the carbon shroud and a Delin cap holds it all together in the front.



Finished product shoots very well

Thank you for your publication, I know that it is complicated and that the cover is what holds everything but I wanted to see if someone has managed like you and has obtained a result that may be useful to me

The gun shoots well but not any better than it did before the mod. Still it is lighter weight now anyway.
