FX Superior Liners markings

Hi,

I noticed there is a marking on the muzzle end in one of the grooves. Each liner comes with such marking. I guess it is for indexing but what it really means?

a picture of said mark would be helpful. I have both superior liners and no marks on the end other than my mark I made. if your talking about the ring that goes around the end of the liner. that indicates that is the chamber side and to be inserted into the action.

Correct, black pen mark at 12' O clock to reference indexing as you say.

My new .30 liner came with a sharpie mark as well. From Utah Airguns. ?

All SUPERIOR liners come with the mark.

Those are old cutting spot marks left by plumbers. Fx buys all those loss waterpipes from construction sites.
