FX Superior Heavy Liner .30

Hi,

Do you have any experience with FX Superior Heavy Liner .30? I need to shoot slugs, NSA 47gr preferably, and I wonder if I should choose a heavy one (1:22") or maybe a regular one (1:26").

I dont have a liner, but as far as twist is concerned in .30 I shoot 65.5gr very nicely with a 1:26

I have shot the NSA 47gr. Slugs with the STX Superior not the Heavy. They are very accurate from that liner.

They were very accurate from 935 to 980 fps.

The STX Superior liner is shooting so good for me, I don't think I will do anything but spend 110 bucks

I guess your Superior Liner is 1:26", not 1:37".

Wow. I am stupid then. So why there is a heavy one with 1:22"? Does it have different dimensions apart from a different twist rate?

Yes 1:26 . Someone posted this a while back from FX USA.

This is getting insane:

- Superior .30 can have 1:37", 1:26" or 1:22" twist rate.

- Superior Heavy .30 can have 1:22" or 1:18" twist rate.

What you get from the dealer is a pure lottery.
