FX Streamline walnut . 25 questions

Hi friends, can FX Streamline walnut .25 use this http://www.airgunsofarizona.com/bipods/harris-hbl-s-bipod-9-to-13-swivel/ with this http://www.airgunsofarizona.com/pcp-accessories/fx-bipod/sling-stud-clamp/?

I want to avoid the penetration of the stockpile because there is no one to do that drilling?In the description of this adapter, it says it is for a “33 mm tube” – are airtube on Streamline is 33 mm?

Also 1/2″ UNF Flat or Tapered female (for Huggett Belita Sound Moderator) ?

I would drill it myself. I installed a short rail section on my Wildcat stock for a bipod attachment point.

Personally, I would not use the air tube as a load bearing point.

Regarding the barrel threads, they are 1/2" x 20 threads for sure.

I measured the tube on my streamline, and it is 33.85mm. I debated purchasing the sling mount but ended up just drilling my stock as Bob_O did.

Agreed, I briefly considered the air tube clamp but quickly realized I don't want want to put that much stress on the air tube.

I also have a Wildcat in walnut and I drilled and installed a small Atlas rail onto my wood stock. The rail is held into place with 10-32 bolts, threading into 10-32 tnuts. If you didn't want to drill 2 holes and recess the tnuts with a ~ 3/4 inch forstner bit, you could just do the single point sling stud and run an adaptor. It's a little scary to go and attack a brand new wooden stock FX rifle with a drill, but if you take your time with measurements and use quality drill bits, it's not horribly difficult to achieve good results.

Most of the time when I shoot my Wildcat, I'm using the bipod to brace against a surface, or I'm holding onto the bipod leg for a freestanding hunting shot. I'm much more confident knowing the bipod and rail are securely attached to the stock, versus potentially putting weird forces on my air tube.

I totally agree with you that it is not a good idea to get the bippo on the air tube! But I personally can not break the box properly and correctly, and I also have no one to rely on to do it well. Especially new and so expensive for me rifle ....

That's why I wanted to insure and ask FX and AOA. They told me it was possible to use this adapter with Harris bipod. Of course this may not mean it's good ...
