FX Streamline Tactical AR folding stock - Fab Project part 2

Hello fellow air gunners,

Aliexpress parts arrived and they are solid and good quality. Pic rail and shoulder pad will arrive soon.

Have a local machine shop that has a water jet to cut 3/8 inch plate aluminum. 3 plates- center plate and two outer plates, total thickness of 9/8. This is about 1/32 wider than the SL. Will use counter sunk hex bolts to bolt together and also mount to gun block. Hew bolts in this photo are just for prototyping shape. Pic rail mount will be about 5 inches long.

I will do several more plastic 3D printed prototypes to ensure fit and design before ordering the cut plates. Total budget including parts should come under $150.If anyone wants a set contact me.

I have been wanting to do something like this to my Crown. This is my drawing of what I was thinking. You have given me the idea of how to go about starting it. Looks great

Hello Everyone,

Getting close to final cut pattern for the three x 3/8" plates. One center plate and two outer plates. Added are cutouts for the lever and also hammer spring access. The pattern will be extended 5 inches for the front pic rail. The 3D printer wouldn't print that long. There a notch for the folding hinge that wont be in the final. Again, 3D printing limitations...

It will be pretty skookum! Thank you for your comments and support.
