FX Streamline pressure release

Thank you all,

Shooting PCP gun emphty is not good idea because then there is high possibility that you will damage valve pin when pressure is low.

Loosening pressure gauge at the end of the tube can be ok, but according to my understanding it need to be done really slowly. There is pressure behind the regulator (plenum chamber) and if tube pressure drops too fast regulator can start moving deeper in the tube. There is no stopper to that direction.

I beleave this is the reason why most of the guns have bleed screw in connection to plenum chamber.

You can probably use the valvepin trick Esting Rowe used in one of his videos on a fx wildcat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79PJ-cOtrac. As far as I know all later year fx models have this hole where you can manually push the valve open. It may be violent and noisy. So just hold the gun steady if you use that method,as allot of high pressure air can escape out the barrel.
