Fx streamline oring?

I have a 22cal streamline, and the shroud has been rattly since I got it. When I sent it back to fx due to a reg leak I asked about the rattle and was ignored/forgot about. Is there an o ring or anything on the receiver end of the shroud? If so what size? The rattle is driving me nuts!

I don't specifically own a streamline but can make an honest and reasonable guess. It may be the free floating hammer system FX is known for which acts as a no bounce hammer system so the gun doesn't waste any air after every shot. Does it make the sound like a loose chunk of metal that slides back and fourth inside of the receiver when you tip the gun up and down? If so then it may just be normal and nothing to worry about in your case.

No it’s the shroud, it’s a really high pitch metal on metal. When I remove the shroud the rattle goes away, I can tap on it and it rattles like crazy. It’s just sad that I’ve complained to the dealer about it and been ignored and asked fx USA about it and same result. So basically I’m wondering if they all do it or if mine is missing an o ring and no one wants to send me one.

I have read that it has an o ring in it, maybe and can get fix to send me some.

I just pulled the shroud off my streamline where it thread to the muzzle there’s nothing but at the other end Towards the breach there is a little plastic ring in the shroud may be your problem hope that helps

Yeah mine doesn’t have the little ring on the breech end. It also doesn’t show on the fx parts diagram.

I found an oring that will work, the rattle is gone.

If you post a video on Youtube I am sure it could help others who have experienced that rattle.
