FX streamline mags

I don't think it will stop sales as it has been their magazine design for many many years across a majority of their line.
IMO, it is the weakest link in their designs. However, I understand the mechanics of why they use it. For me, their continued innovation and quality make this easier to overlook. I was very happy when the Wildcat came out with such a simple mag design. I had hoped they would continue to use that design but, they'd basically have to redesign the entire thing in order to do so. Also, due to patents and proprietary design issues, I don't think they could use anyone else's design. ex: I don't think you'll ever see a Marauder style magazine in an FX.
One system you might try is to get a single shot tray. FX retailers have them and you can find them on Ebay. I leave my trays in all the time and primarily use my mags for pest control. My mags sit in the pellet tins about 1/2 full ready to go if I need them.

Tom I was looking for a single shot tray for my FX Verminator in .22 caliber. I looked at the metal one show on Airgun Deport and it says it fits the Royal, Verminator, Indy and Bobcat. I however was wanting the cheaper plastic one I saw on Ebay. The trouble is the ones I see are listed specifically to different FX rifles. Do you know if one of these would work with my Verminator. Thanks Bill

I do not want to get too far off the OP's topic but...
Many of the FX line share the same Royale breech block design. If it fits a Royale, it should have no problem in the Streamline, Verminator, and others. It's always best to ask your retailer to be sure. One easy way to tell is by looking at what magazines they use. If they use the same magazine as a Royale, then the SS tray for the Royale should work.
