FX Streamline .25 Chrony Data (JSB 25.39gr) (JSB King Heavy 33.95gr)

"Imold"If I could get a Streamline out of the box that shot like that I wouldn't even worry about a Royale or a Crown for that matter because the Streamline would be a 125 yard bench gun for sure but with my luck I'd get one that only shot mid 850's, it would still get me to 100 yards + but the drop would be quite a bit more out to 125 yards +.....At 109 yards with my .25 Bullboss (advertised 970 fps I think) I hold my 1st moa line at the top of my 8" gong and my 2nd moa line is about in the middle of the gong I can ring it every time, I haven't run it thru my ProChrono yet so I don't know what my fps is but I'm guessing it's around 900 with JSB Exact Kings 25,39.
Do let us know, it will be interesting to see what FPS you are getting.

Looks like to me your avg improved? If I'm understanding correctly? Your previous avg was 912 and now it is 916? Still loving that SD of 2. Soo cool! Or am I backwards in understanding when the Sumo was installed and not? I'm use to being corrected, I'm married, so just slap me around a little if I messed up. lol.

The 912 avg was with the Sumo installed, and the 916 avg was without. Sorry if I confused you. I installed the Sumo to set my distance from the Chrony, then uninstalled it the shoot the string. I didn't want to give the gun the advantage of being closer without the Sumo installed since I measured from front of Sumo to sensor for first 4 strings I did. That way it showed changes from moderator install/uninstall, instead of movement of gun in relationship to the sensor. I could have said that the muzzle was set at 14.5" from the front sensor for both tests.

I just bought a 500 Royale with a synthetic stock and had them run some JSB Exact King 25,39's through it and this is the 3rd mag shot string. Right in line with FX specs.

"Imold"Think it's going to treat me well for years to come, talked to a few, more folks before I made up my mind and went with the Royale over the Streamline,it was oh so close.......
I still can't believe how well the Streamline shoots.....
Congrats on the 500 Royale. Look forward to hearing more about her in the future.
Yep Thanks, although I went the Royale route I still have the Streamline on the list as my next If I get another .25....

I did an experiment today while I am getting more familiar with my streamline, which is still in it's work in period.( less than full tin through it so far)
I just wanted to see how well the regulator works in conjunction with the power adjustment wheel. I decide to do a simultaneous shot string of medium and high power.

Setup:
-Donnyfl sumo installed and 8" from chrony sensor
-20 shot string alternating between medium and high power.
-gun charged to 230bar
- 25.39gr Jsb unsorted

It's nice to know how consistent it is when switching between power levels. At least medium and high, as these will be the most used by me.

EDIT: Adding a string at high power with 33.95 Mk 1

Set up: Same as above except.
- High power only.
- start of 220 bar.

My rifle doesn't seem to like the king heavies, which is ok. I did notice they were pretty tight in mag, and didn't feed as smooth as the 25.39gr pellets. I will have to save them for when I get something like the crown that is adjustable.

Ugh..I’m buying one and actually find it annoying that it is over powered out of the box for 25.39. Really fx…99% of people that buy this rifle are shooting 25.39. I have read what a PIA the HS is to break loose and adjust on most of these. Going to have to deal with it I guess to get mine down around 900. Sorry to resurrect this but had to vent.
