OH
I just ordered a new Streamline and I know it comes with two moderator sections. I've read some negative opinions about these and am wondering if it's because of aesthetics or function. I don't know if I'll think I need more noise reduction, but if I do I'll need to decide whether to buy another FX section or two or to just go to a longer one piece aftermarket moderator. Any thoughts?

Despite being hollow (lack of baffles) they do a really good job. FX uses a unique cone feature on the last section (muzzle) which seems to divert air back into the sections. I've done a lot of work with Neil Clague & he is adamant that more baffles are not necessarily better. Volume is much more important.

Depending on how quiet you want it, two sections may not be enough. Maybe some other guys who own the Streamline will chime in with their thoughts.
