So I'm looking to add a sling on my FX Royale 400. I've been watching videos about installing sling swivel studs, but I'm not sure that's the way I want to do it. Eventually I stumbled on this...

I believe they're mostly used on tactical AR's. Has anyone seen this installed on a wooden buttstock, for instance? Do you think it will hold up? I really like this QR design over the swivel stud QR. Mainly because I think it wil attach and detach faster and it just looks neater. Especially when the sling is off, nothing is protruding like there is with a stud.
I've also been thinking long and hard how to attach the Atlas BT15 picatinny rail on the forend. "Killzone" and others have posted tutorials how to do it with 10-32 T-nuts,
which seems the most sturdy way of anchoring. But I also like to add a sling stud and anchor it like that as well, only I am not sure if another T-nut will fit. I don't want to secure the sling stud without a T-nut, because the forend stock is only 1cm in height.
Another reason why I'm being so anal about this, is because this is a 1.5 walnut stock. After saving up for it a couple of years (being a student), it's basicly my most cherished possesion haha.
Finaly, after spending MORE time searching, I think I've found the perfect solution.

With this rail I don't have to drill a third hole. It does, however, have a curved base. So I have to flatten that out for it to fit flush on the stock.
Just sent them an email. Hope they ship to Europe.
I'm sorry if the pictures are huge on your screen. I'm doing this on my phone and that's turning out to be quite cumbersome.
Let me know what you guys think.
