"Monkyshine"I am considering the royale as a second gun Cliff. Hope it meets the accuracy standards of your early model royal 500. I am also considering a RAW. I am really satisfied with my FX but cant stand the horrible phone/email support in our country from its only importer.
Haha, I hear what you're saying. Sometimes you just want someone to pick up the phone and be at your disposal for a few minutes. I've had sporadic good luck calling them, but by the time I actually get someone one the phone I almost feel rushed because I know they are basically on the phone all day and are just trying to get through each call as quickly as possible.
That being said, I've been able to get everything done with them that I want and they've been plenty fair and nice and never hesitate to tell me to send the gun in for warranty work if needed.
This Royale, while it still needs some more vetting in the accuracy dept. has shown real promise so far in regards to how it performs compared to my first one. I was able to print these two, back to back 43 yard groups the other day using the JSB Heavy Kings MKII. Each group is a full mag, 11 shots, no fliers. Very similar to my last Royale and puts a smile on my face. I need some more time and a bit more distance but I already feel very confident with the gun on the bench.
Here are 4 groups shot back to back, a full mag in each hole with my first Royale at a full 50 yards using the regular JSB Kings a couple of years ago. I adjusted the scope a bit between groups, hence the slight shift in POI. If this new gun can replicate this kind of performance from the old one, man, I'll be a happy camper!
44 shots, back to back, no fliers!! I left the bench that night with a huge smile on my face! haha
