FX Royale or Boss owners

I just replaced the original side lever handles on my Boss & Royale with Impact/Crown type handles. The originals were kind of small for my fat fingers. Then I slid some o-rings into the grooves for "grip". Love the look & feel now. Thought I'd put it out there for others to see.

Looks good on the boss,I might do it to my royale I just added the boss trigger its night and day to the royale's trigger.

Looks great Gerry, I tried this myself a while ago. The cocking arm is the same part as the Impact if you ever end up needing one. Same with the hardened steel linkage, same part. Streamline/Crown as well most likely.

I did this also back in May. It's a much better feel with the new lever. I included part numbers for those that were interested in doing it themselves. My thread didn't get much traction. Ha ha!

That's funny fxusa told you it won't fit and different throw. Literally the exact same arm and linkage.

I'd almost 3rd that sentiment! 

IMO... The Impact was the best FX created due to what it did to the industry as a whole. BUT, The Royale was the best rifle FX ever produced for comfort, accuracy, and reliability. I've owned about 6 of them and currently have 2. #1 is my "sweetheart" with a grade 2 stock and the 2nd is a rifle I bought just to loan out to friends and visitors. 

@Gerry52 - I'm happy that you found an upgrade that works better for you than the original. Looks pretty good and, I'm sure all those O-rings grip your fingers really well! I'd fall into the opposite category, however. LOL! Personally, I've always enjoyed the smaller OEM cocking lever.
