FX Royale 500 PCP is leaking off

I purchased an older FX Royale 500 from an AGN member about six weeks ago. It was perfect until I took it out of the vault earlier today and found it had leaked off.

It is definitely leaking in the assembly where the bottle and the foster fill adapter go into the block that screws into the breech block. I tried using the generic metric O-rings I had to no avail.

I am either going to have to source o'rings or an o'ring kit, or send it off for someone to go through it for me and seal it up. My suspicion is that this is an older production model and it might be time for someone with some real familiarity with these rifles to go through it from front to back. It is a tack driver so I have no complaints.

If you have any experience with this particular rifle, any thoughts you have would be much appreciated.

That is an older model and probably has never been gone through. I would re seal the whole gun. I just went through this with an fx streamline. It needed a small part (valve seat) but I went ahead and had the whole gun resealed. I wasn’t comfortable doing all the work myself so I sent it to fx USA. I used pirate ship to send it to them so the shipping was only like 20 bucks. Fx charged me 178 dollars for the re seal, few small parts I needed and shipping back to me. Turn around was about 5-6 weeks. My streamline should actually ship today or tomorrow as I paid the invoice late Friday.

The O ring at the bottle adapter is 15.88x2.62, and the stock screw housing, 5.28x1.78. If it's leaking from either of these sources, you should be able to easily see it with some soapy water or thin oil bubbles. If it's leaking from the weep hole, or through the breech, then it's likely the valve or regulator seal. You could always send it to FX, or a competent independent tech for total resealing, but it might not need it.
