Thanks for sharing your great photos. Looks like you had a fun hunt. However, we need details man! What pellets/ slugs did you use? What distance were the shots? Head shots or body shots? We gotta know so that we can feel like we were there

Note. Only able to recover Rock Chucks that were
Head shots. Body shots they make it to their hole.
Had a total of seven Chucks was a very fun day!

Gotta LOVE those Hades in the .25 Royale! I've always loved mine but once I started using Hades pellets in it I haven't used anything else. Not a SINGLE pass thru in 6 months, sometimes at distances of 30 yards or less!!! What GREAT energy dump. Good shooting & good on ya.

Those are good size. I work at a lumber mill and we are allowed / encouraged to remove tons of rock chucks that infest the yards. This was my first one years ago using my beeman R1 in 17cal.

@JRR nice work on the rock chucks.. I am originally from Pocatello, and living in Europe now. Where are you hunting chucks this late in the year? Are you up around Soda Springs / Blackfoot reservoir? I just thought they would be back underground by now with the temps going up.
I hope to get over to Idaho in the autumn for some hunting for varmints and small game with one of my PCPs. Brocock Compatto now and an FX Crown next.
@JRR - Also, have you heard of the PANSAL squirrel shoot held each April (accept this year)? http://www.pansalairgun.com/home some guys out of the Boise area founded it. I plan to go next year if all works out.
