FX Royal 400- Like I needed another airgun.

You will have to remove that large block that is at the rear of the receiver before you will be able to rock the action out of the stock.
Just loosening it up may work, but you may have to remove it.
Those stocks are a bit fiddly to disassemble and reassemble.
The front and back parts came off easy. It is the center wrapped around the action. I have all the bolts off but it ain’t moving.

I remember mine being a pretty tight fit, and I had to persuade it out by rocking it to and fro before it would release.
The previous owner didn't glue it in hopefully, no evidence of that correct?

Reinstall the front of the stock, grab it by that and the base of the barrel right before the receiver, and give her the old persuasion.

Looks pretty rough where the pellet enters. Lead shavings laying there. That may need some work. Seems like you might get occasional flyers.
It was all built up lead. I have never seen a rifle this dirty from just usage.

A few more pictures. Chunks of lead were falling out when I pulled the shroud out. The PO was a firm believer in not cleaning the barrel if accuracy is good.😂 The first patch was saturated with enough lead that I set it aside to melt down.

The factory truck bed texture had to go. I knew staining the wood and not getting blotchy color would be a challenge but I went with a dark walnut and oil finish. I don’t think the squirrels will notice it isn’t perfect.

AOA came through on the trigger pin. The tech was kind enough to go through his stash of parts and mail one out to me. Awesome service!
