fx revolution repairs/servicing.

Good day all.
Was wondering if u guys know any useful links on breaking down a fx revolution for servicing(esp. Cleaning the air return line). Having problems on an ongoing basis and quite frankly getting fed up have to visit the gunsmith everytime.

Figured out how the adjustments work . Just looking for a little info on how to take it apart safely.

Thanks. Ended up pulling up the parts diagram and dismantled the shroud / expansion chamber. Found two pellets and a lot of dust. Cleaned it up and mount it back according to the specs. Working properly now. Will continue to research it and see if i can put together a comprehensive maintenance program for it. Such a good gun.

That would be great and appreciate if you would share it. I have only about 1000 rds through mine and have never even experienced a jam. Sure the day is coming based on forum discussions. I love the semi auto pellet rifle.

Will do. At first i was think of selling it because of the problems. And there has been many. But i haven't seen a gun out there to compare. Have a sumatra carbine. Together they give me best of both worlds. Speed and power. Will keep trying with the revolution until something else better in the semi auto line comes out. Dont like guns that works with batteries. Its bad enough running out of air.lol.

Guess I have been lucky as I posted...mine has never given me any problems so far. Surely the next time I shoot it will jam!

I did read this regarding magazine tension so I disassembled and checked my 4 mags...not sure if that made any difference?

I so wanted to buy this gun but at lest 70% of the people who have it reported horrible problems with it. I don't know if FX has done anything to improve it, judging from the fact that it kinda went under the radar makes me think that they didn't. Such a shame as it had a lot of potential.

Mine won't re cock if I single load a pellet without the magazine in place. It shoots the pellet and then instantly slam fires a blank that is very loud.
