FX Ranchero Custom

Hello fello Airgun Friends. 

I would like to introduce you to a new Custom FX I just finished up. It’s built around the FX Ranchero Pistol. Not being a fan of “ big guns” I wanted a light, handy hunting gun. This is the results. The stock is a Steve Corcoran Custom. Spring boarding from a design that originated back 23 years ago with my Custom Falcon Tomanator. Steve added his artistic talents to my design. Using many available off the shelf parts from FX. The only other parts needing customizing was the barrel. A 22’ barrel was cut down to 18’. A Lane regulator was installed. When asked how it shoots. I answer with two words. Amazingly Boring.

Overall length 41’ 32 ‘ w/o moderator

weight 6.1 lb 8.5 lb ready to hunt

22 FPE 32 regulated shots @ 3300 PSI

Completely disassembled the gun. 

Cleaned and removed all heavy oil and grease. Lubed with graphite. Did some crony testing and tweaking 35 Shot string

How many shots are you getting per fill? I have a Ranchero with SC stock, stock airtube with Altaros regulator. I'm getting 16 shots on reg set to 120bar @ 700 fps with JSB 14gr. Wondering how many more I could get if I extended the barrel and airtube.
