FX Fx Panthera Shroud stuck

Hi all.

I was trying to unscrew the shroud on my FX panthera 700 . It seems to be stuck. It just won’t budge. Has anyone had this problem.

Panthers has the plenum around the barrel.

Are you trying to unscrew the plenum?

I’m assuming you have completely de-gassed… then take a heat gun warm it up.

But if you are Only removing the front shroud no need to de-gas. Just a bit of heat gun.

Yeah I had trouble with a maverick shroud before. I think sometimes they put thread locker on the shroud for some stupid insane reason.

Hi guys. I got it off eventually. So all good. It now screws on and off pretty easily . One thing I did notice is that the rifle does not have the bushing on the end of the barrel. Looks like it was removed at some point. Not sure how much difference that will make but I have ordered another one.
