I'm in the market for a Panthera, 700 mm in .22 cal. One of the important accessories, for me, is finding the quietest moderator possible. What's everybody using on their Pantheras?

I’m very happy with a Tatsu. The Panthera is surprisingly quiet to me and mines a 600. The slug impact is way louder and certainly the action is louder than the muzzle.

When a PCP is loud it means your tune is bad, even at high power an efficient tune is quiet with a small moderator like tatsu.

Impulse Air 1350 makes mine stupid quiet. Pushing 34gt slugs at 950 fps, and there is basically no sound when fired

I am also using Impulse Air 1350 on my .22 Panthera 700. It is very quiet. Zan 30.5gr @ 970 fps.

Contact FT Airguns. Theirs is the quietest. They compared it to a Hugget and Donny FL and the FT Airguns design is much quieter.

Recently switched to an Altaros moderator to match the amazing Altaros slugs I’m shooting. Very happy with its performance.

That dude makes some effective stuff at very reasonable prices! I got a printed one for the Beeman side lever for next to nothing and it worked great!

Also, take notice of your surroundings where you’re shooting at. Fences, walls, etc will make whatever moderator you’re using still seem like it barks.
My hugget snipes have always treated me well. Not mouse fart quiet(and there is no such a thing, btw) but bark is tamed. This was what I got used to while shooting from inside my garage out thru a window.
Fast forward to RMAC, during sight in I thought something happened to the gun during my travel to utah cause I barely heard chit when I pulled the trigger. I actually had to check my air pressure as I thought all air was gone. Then it dawned on me that there were no walls out on tge range. I was impressed even more so on my huggets

I was pretty shocked that it took that much bark out of that 30. it sounds like a rimfire without it.
