I also just noticed today that my guy ( over here in Denmark ) also have the panthera's in stock, so i will be able to feel one up when i go pickup my maverick from warranty repair.
Hell yesterday i even got my import permit for a new moderator,,,,, which of course Huma do not have in store ATM, so E-mail notification on that one.

Definitely looking forward to one of our members giving a true review. I did contact Tony today about a .30 600mm; 700mm seems so long, but he didn’t have any.
Am looking forward to getting one in my hands. I wonder if it will feel similar to my Leshiy 2 with the 600mm barrel. This is definitely a different look for FX but like they have stated, it is purpose built. Hopefully I will get to try it during the upcoming match in New Hampshire in April. This will be my first competition but I am definitely looking forward to going…

The panthera is a kind of weird design. It is absolutely futuristic but total length (49 inches) makes me remind David Crockett's rifle.

That rifle may not be shot from inside a vehicle. No way to handle it in the cabin.

Not for me !
you know there is a 38" version and a 43" verrsion right ?

The 500 @ 38 inches would be better suited for vehicle use. I get it thou, I thought the 700 would be the one to get until realizing that I would have to hook up the trailer to my side x side to haul it around. :-(

Last time I checked no one wants to be known as owner of shortest gun...........I ordered the 700mm version just so y'all know.

The wildcat bottle rifle is the ideal truck gun IMHO. I'd like to have one just for that. But I can afford only so many FX rifles lol.

Which Scope?

Not 100% sure yet. Most likely put my Crimson trace Series 5 on it for the time being.

It will be a challenge to settle on a scope for it, for PRS I like simple reticle and for long range I’ll need loads of adjustment and higher mag. Plus don’t want something too heavy to make it top heavy and I like FFP. :unsure:o_O:oops::rolleyes:

I like the look of the Pantera, but from what I understand the 500mm barrel CAN be used with pellets and some slugs, but it was designed as a COMPETETION SLUG rifle. SO taming it down for pellets would be like castrating a race horse.
