FX No Limit versus Leupold Rings?

I've only used 2 types of scope rings (FX No Limit & Leupold) so my experience is very limited. I looked more closely at both of those today and noticed the following differences.

The Leupold rings are made out of steel as opposed to aluminum for the FX. The Leupolds are noticeably heavier.
The Leupold top half rings have to be spread apart to place on the scope. They fit more snug but may have a tendency to scratch the scope finish.
The Leupold rings use a square steel bar that spans across the Picatinny rail slot. The FX rings use the screw that clamps the bottom half ring in place to span the slot.
The Leupold rings have a wedge type tab for clamping the ring in place. The FX rings have a square slot for the tab, which has a little play in it.
The Leupold rings use torx head screws. The FX rings use allen head screws.

Not including the height adjustment of the FX No Limit rings, what are the merits and advantages of each?
