I recently purchased an FX Maverick Sniper, .25 cal, 700mm barrel. What are the top upgrade possibilities? Thanks

I have the VP in 25 cal. I added a Thunder Ordinance Falx, a Saber Tactical Butt Stock, and an Accu Tac FC4 G2 bipod. Topped off with an Athlon Optics Argos BTR GEN2 6-24X50.

FX slug power kit or Huma Pin probe, Carbon fiber sleeve and upgrade the rear gauge to a bigger Huma gauge.

This is all pretty funny..."upgrade".
Mine shoots perfectly well...stock..! Just a touch of pellet, fps tuning, and a more vertical grip. That's just a change, not an over used word...upgrade .
No..."upgrades" (?) needed.

Some people like to "upgrade" or add accessories. Semantics. Me being one of them. Earn my own money, spend my own money.

I like the Sumo and I have ran it up to 78 foot pounds in .25cal and it was very effective. The Ronin is effective as well. Depends on what power level you are shooing at. JSB 25's only require the stock FX mod for quiet operation.

I'm partial to the Thunder Ordinance Falx. Only a few dB's less than my Sumo but to my ear it sounds a little less like a crack.

I use a Tatsu. I couldn't tell any difference from a couple other FL mods.
And the Tatsu fit in the FX hard case while still attached to the barrel.

Definitely ditch the regulator gauge FX provides. Basically of no value if you plan on doing much tuning and minimal value as a means of checking status.
I bought a Sekhmet and it was toast right out of the gate. I already had an Airmarksman digital on my other gun so just bought another one of those for half the money. They have worked just fine for me.
As others have noted a good bipod is never a bad idea. I like the Atlas that pans horizontally. Sorry cannot remember the model #.

I run the DonnyFL Ronin on my Maverick VP, but I have the .30cal which has more bark than the .25cal.

My Maverick 22 cal was originally a compact as that was the only thing I could get my hands on. Since then I added the sniper barrel kit. Heavier hammer, carbon fiber sleeve, Replaced both gauges with the Huma-air gauges. Added an SightMark Wraith HD day/night scope. Bipod and extender rail under the bottle.

I use the original moderator that came with the 22 cal compact version, but for the 30 cal, I use the Sumo.

@Larry1956 I'm getting ready to buy a sniper (.22) ... After reading some of the above concerned that I will need to add things. Does the 700 bbl need a stiffener? Just going to be shooting tiny sparrows at 309-55 yards.. wont shoot slugs ( too much energy).
