FX FX Maverick slug liner with pellets

For the guys with an FX maverick with a slug liner (preferably 22 cal), how is your accuracy with lighter pellets? I realize it's not optimal to shoot pellets through a slug liner, but how is it?

I'm debating getting a slug liner for mine, but I shoot lighter pellets most of the time. I would like to be able to shoot heavier slugs more accurately. I was wondering if the accuracy with pellets is decent at closer ranges. I shoot a lot of crosman 14.3 hp because of how cheap they are. If the accuracy is acceptable, I'll likely get one.

On a side note, I have a 700mm sniper barrel and am looking for a 500 if anyone is interested in trading. I'll post once I've reached the number of days/posts.

Thanks.

I had a Maverick sniper in 22. It was very accurate with the heavy liner shooting NSA 27.5 slugs.
My M3 is sporting a slug liner as well. I shoot the same NSA 27.5’s out of it, but with a 600mm barrel. It shoots just as accurately as the 700 did on my Maverick Sniper. IT also shoots 23 gr Zan slugs and 23 gr NSA’s very well with the slug liner.
If you are wanting to shoot slugs I would suggest going with the 600mm barrel. I have tried to shoot slugs out of my 500mm 25 cal Maverick and the best results I got were sort of acceptable but not stellar even with Hybrids. The 600 is not that much longer but seems to handle slugs much better.
I have a setting on my M3 that I use to shoot JSB 18.13’s. It shoots them just fine out to 50 yards. I have not tried them past that range.
